Lead Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team at IO Associates in Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team and spearhead cutting-edge projects in robotics and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of electrical engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project success.
  • Lead the design and execution of electrical systems, including power distribution, control hardware, and automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and AI specialists to ensure seamless integration of electrical components in robotic systems.
  • Drive creative solutions to complex technical challenges, particularly in the field of robotics.
  • Oversee project timelines, manage budgets, and ensure successful, timely delivery.
  • Foster an environment of innovation and continuously enhance engineering processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Master's or PhD preferred).
  • 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Proficiency in design tools like EPLAN, Circuit Studio, and AutoCAD.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams and strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex engineering challenges and drive innovative solutions.
  • Experience in designing integrated electromechanical products for industrial markets.
