Job Description

Supporting a Young Girl with Complex Care Needs

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality one-to-one care for a happy young girl who lives with her loving family in Gateshead.

The ideal candidate will have experience in personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, epilepsy management, and PEG feeding. Oxygen management and oral suctioning are desirable skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the service user to her educational setting and support with personal care, moving, and handling
  • Attend to her clinical care needs when required
  • Engage with her learning and promote social interaction
  • Ensure her comfort throughout the day

Requirements:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Epilepsy Management
  • PEG Feeding
