About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children's Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality one-to-one care to our service user, a happy young girl who requires support with her complex care needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, moving, and handling support to our service user
- Assist with medication administration, epilepsy management, and PEG feeding
- Engage with our service user's learning, promote social interaction, and ensure her comfort throughout the day
- Accompany our service user to her educational setting and attend to her clinical care needs when required
Requirements:
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- Epilepsy Management
- PEG Feeding
Desirable Experience:
- Oxygen Management
- Oral suctioning
Working Hours:
We have the following shifts available:
- Part Time Days
- 8:00am - 8:00pm
- Alternate weekend availability is needed for this position
Pay Rates:
Weekdays: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £180 per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £15.00 per hour (£180 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £17.50 per hour (£210.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)
