The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) programme is a national evidence-based initiative that aims to improve antenatal health, child development, and parental self-sufficiency. As a Family Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering intensive home visiting services to pregnant young women and their families, promoting healthy outcomes and supporting them through life's challenges.

Main Responsibilities
  • Recruit and engage eligible pregnant young women into the FNP programme
  • Use programme materials and methods to achieve improved pregnancy outcomes, children's health, and parental life-course
  • Work therapeutically with family members to promote behaviour change and positive outcomes
  • Take a lead professional role in providing integrated support packages for children and young people with additional needs
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and implementation of the programme with fidelity
