This organization, part of a larger group generating over $1 billion in annual revenue, is expanding its European division due to an increasing number of projects and client requirements.


We are seeking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their innovative and well-established team, working alongside industry specialists in a modern office environment.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to engage in design projects on an international scale, with project values ranging from £500k to £20 million.


As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering optimal solutions for various projects utilizing Autodesk Inventor CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret P&IDs to create 3D models of piping and process layouts.
• Design conveyor systems and walkways according to client specifications.
• Provide design assistance to sales and proposal teams.
• Develop 3D models of plant layouts using AutoCAD Plant software.
• Design for manufacturing bespoke components and items.
• Conduct site surveys utilizing 3D scanning technology.
• Participate in design reviews with both internal teams and clients.


The ideal candidate for the Senior Mechanical Engineer position will possess a strong passion for design, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently.

Qualifications:
• Proficiency in 3D modeling.
• Experience with 2D CAD software.
• Relevant mechanical engineering qualification.
• Flexibility and a supportive team-oriented attitude.
