Infection Control and Prevention Lead

Position: IPC Lead

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours weekly

Location: Primarily based at Head Office with necessary travel to various service locations nationwide.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for leading the Infection Control and Prevention (IPC) team to enhance knowledge and practices within the organization.

Key responsibilities include formulating and supervising adherence to the IPC Delivery Plan.

Engagement with stakeholders to elevate IPC standards is essential.

Expertise in navigating complex challenges and a solid understanding of clinical governance frameworks are required.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

Proficient in critical thinking, data analysis, report and policy writing, and program development.

Experience with infection control audit methodologies, strong communication skills, IT proficiency, and effective task prioritization.

Capability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively, demonstrating leadership qualities.

Clinical background in a healthcare environment.

Desirable Qualifications

Certification in Infection Control and Prevention, specialized knowledge, training capabilities, experience in staff leadership, project management, and collaboration with external partners.
