Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Handling Specialist to join our team at Produce Investments plc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Ensure the constant operation of the Cascade water treatment system, including regular changeovers of chemicals and monitoring of usage.
  • Process and Handle Materials: Operate the stone/potato separator as necessary, and clean and maintain the soil press.
  • Conduct Quality Control Checks: Regularly inspect and monitor the quality of our products, including HACCP, pH, temperature, and water standards.
  • Report and Resolve Issues: Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or quality control issues to the Engineering Manager, and work to resolve them promptly.
  • Perform Forklift Duties: Safely operate a forklift within the production environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Key Attributes:
  • Valid Forklift Licence: Possess a valid forklift licence of ITSAAR, AITT, or RTITB standard.
  • Excellent Communication and Organisational Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fault Finding and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess fault finding skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve issues efficiently.
