Deep Science Ventures is seeking a visionary Co-Founder in Residence to spearhead the development of a groundbreaking zero emission steel venture. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a pioneering team and drive innovation in the steel industry.
About the RoleWe are looking for an entrepreneurial individual with a strong background in metallurgical engineering, material sciences, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies and constraints in metals processing, as well as experience in building and scaling new technologies from concept to demonstration.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and commercialize novel electrochemical and/or thermochemical cell and reactor design
- Collaborate with the DSV team to create a high-impact venture from scratch
- Work closely with industry experts and partners to drive innovation in zero emission steel production
- Secure funding and resources to support the venture's growth and development
- Access to proprietary tools, resources, and processes to support venture creation
- Opportunity to work with a network of Partners and Advisors with expertise in the steel industry
- Up to £250k in investment to support the venture's early stages
- Guaranteed income and majority equity stake in the new company
