Position Overview
The Caribbean Oxford Initiative (CaribOx) is a newly established fellowship and travel grant program aimed at fostering meaningful and sustainable partnerships between scholars from Caribbean institutions and the University of Oxford.
Key Responsibilities
This role encompasses the comprehensive administrative oversight of the initiative. The successful candidate will be tasked with:
- Providing extensive administrative support, including the formulation and execution of a continuous operational strategy.
- Administering, tracking, and reporting on the funding allocated for designated activities, while also offering practical assistance to grant recipients.
- Maintaining and nurturing international partnerships, as well as exploring new collaborative opportunities with external stakeholders across the Caribbean and within various departments at Oxford University.
- Leading communication efforts for the initiative, which includes managing a dedicated website and social media presence.
- Supporting an academic steering committee and advisory board.
