About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Investment Data Integrity at Pension Corporation. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our investment data.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver High-Quality Investment Data: Oversee the successful delivery of investment data to support business decisions and operations.
  2. Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business SMEs to simplify, redesign, and document optimal data processes and related controls.
  3. Lead Data Operations Team: Oversee the Data Operations team, focusing on optimizing data processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  4. Align Data Management Practices: Collaborate with Technology, Change, and business units to align data management practices with the company's strategic objectives.
  5. Represent Data Group: Own the relationship between the Data Group, Finance, and Investments & Operations divisions, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery, risk control, efficiency, and ongoing support.
  6. Conduct Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of current data structures, data issues, root causes, and resolutions.
  7. Define Data Management Requirements: Define and document the requirements for data management processes, rules, service levels, and responsibilities.
  8. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Effectively collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Investment Operations, Pension Operations, Finance, Risk, IT, and Change teams.
Technical Requirements
  1. Investments Front Office Experience: Experience working directly with an Investments Front Office.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of products such as Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Private Debt Investments.
  3. Vendor Familiarity: Familiarity with vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Murex, Moody, S&P, Fitch, MSCI, or Aladdin.
  4. Data Leadership Experience: Experience of being a Data Leader and migrating from a technical role to a business/data leadership position.
  5. Data Management Experience: Experience of designing and delivering data management and governance capabilities in Investments or other Financial Services environments, ideally including asset management, pensions, insurance, and investments understanding.
