Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Head of Investment Governance. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a global financial institution, driving strategic investment decisions and ensuring effective governance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Operations business heads, Technology and Operations Change leads to create and provide transparency of portfolio, programs and spend impacting Ops across BAU and Change
  • Develop and implement simplified and streamlined governance standards and processes across Operations, drawing on best practices and adherence to Citi Standards
  • Collaborate with Change and Program Management teams in the execution of program and project management quality assurance and compliance activities and various other management reporting processes
  • Establish governance over the Investment portfolio for Operations, consistently tracking and reporting the delivery of programs and assessing any risks to delivery, associated spend and the realisation of benefits
Requirements
  • Significant relevant experience, including managerial experience with specific expertise in large scale investment and portfolio governance in banking
  • A strong understanding of financial, audit and governance processes as they relate to technology investment
  • Demonstrated results working in a matrixed organization structure
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively problem solve
  • Ability to build positive cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex budgets / financials
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to compellingly present & persuade
  • Proven track record of team coaching and development
  • Ability to plan and develop, lead initiatives
