About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position with a trusted nursery who can offer the successful candidate a fantastic career opportunity along with excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all aspects of the Statutory Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage and welfare requirements are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Plan activities in line with EYFS and provide a notable contribution to the nursery's occupancy marketing and management.
  • Be responsible and assume accountability for the day-to-day operational running of the nursery in the absence of the manager.
  • Develop and maintain policies for review and assessment of each child's progress.
  • Support the nursery manager with any other necessary tasks required for the effective running of the nursery.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant childcare or teaching qualification – level 3 minimum.
  • Have previous experience in a senior role within early years education.
  • Previous experience in a nursery is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the EYFS and refer to the EYFS Framework to plan activities.
