We have a fantastic opportunity for a Toddler Room Leader to join our friendly team for a full time Monday to Friday position.

Shanklin Day Nursery is a small, family-owned nursery located in Stoneygate, close to the city centre and all local bus routes.

We have an excellent reputation, achieving good and outstanding Ofsted reports for over 28 years.

**Pay starts from £24,000.00 and is negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications, to be discussed at interview.**

Our nursery has plenty of character, all our group rooms that are light and airy, providing lots of space in which our children can play and learn.

Our nursery also benefits from 3 large outside play areas, including a forest area, which are very popular with our children and staff.

**What we ask from you**:

- You are qualified to Level 3 in childcare or above
- You have 1 year of room leader experience or the ability to step up to the role.
- Be prepared to have lots of fun at work. Laughter is something you can expect to engage in for a large part of your working day.
- Be friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about providing the highest quality of childcare and learning experiences to children.
- Develop strong partnerships with parents

As a Room Leader, you will lead a small team in providing excellent childcare for toddler children aged 2-3 years while ensuring high standards and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. We ask that you are willing to share your own experiences and knowledge with other practitioners.
