About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in delivering solutions for complex manufacturing challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct best methods of manufacture and provide technical engineering support to production and quality teams.
  • Lead internal facing engineering initiatives to drive business growth and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement LEAN approaches to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Support new business development, customer interaction, and NPI project management.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Director to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Several years' experience in a senior manufacturing engineering or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, machining, and materials.
  • Experience with CNC machining in a precision engineering environment.
  • High level of CNC programming competency in Fanuc Heidenhain languages.
  • Programming experience in turning and milling capabilities, ideally up to 5 axis (3+2).
  • 3D modeling skills, preferably with SolidWorks and Visi.
  • Familiarity with VISI CAM package and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of technical specifications on materials, metrology, surface treatments, and hardness methods.
