Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for directing best methods of manufacture and delivering technical engineering support to both production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing best methods of manufacture
  • Delivering technical engineering support to production and quality teams
  • Leading internal facing engineering to deliver continued growth to the business
  • Targeting areas of improvement using a LEAN approach
  • Leading front-end engineering to deliver continued growth to the business
  • Supporting manufacturing activities

Requirements:

  • Suitably educated with several years' experience in a senior manufacturing engineering or supervisory role
  • Experience of CNC machining in a precision engineering environment
  • High level of CNC programming competency in Fanuc Heidenhain languages
  • Programming experience in both turning and milling capabilities, ideally up to 5 axis (3+2)
  • 3D modelling, preferably with SolidWorks and Visi
  • Offline programming, familiarity with VISI CAM package highly desired
  • GD&T and drawing standards
  • Technical specifications on materials, metrology, surface treatments, hardness methods
