Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our client's team and manage a portfolio of residential properties. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Lettings team to ensure all properties are maintained to a high standard while adhering to current Lettings legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Property Maintenance and Repair: Manage repair and maintenance issues across multiple properties, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Inspections and Compliance: Organize property inspections, tenant check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Utility Management: Coordinate with utility companies and organize tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Contractor Management: Schedule and liaise with cleaning and maintenance contractors, ensuring high-quality services.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain strong communication with landlords and tenants, updating the property management system with all notes, repairs, and tenant communications.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure compliance with property legislation, including EPC, gas, electric, health, and safety regulations.
  • Landlord Support: Handle landlord licensing and serve notices, including eviction paperwork, as necessary.
  • Court Support: Attend court when necessary, supporting eviction proceedings.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in property management.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of current Lettings legislation, including Section 21 reforms.
  • Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills, excellent IT skills, and ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Certifications: ARLA Propertymark exams are highly desirable.
