Opportunity Overview

Wincanton is seeking to develop a Consultancy database by leveraging the expertise of its existing talent across the business. We are looking for individuals from diverse backgrounds and skillsets to contribute their knowledge and experience to work on exciting projects alongside their current role.

Key Focus Areas

  • Initial focus on the P&I sector to prove the concept
  • Expansion into other sectors
  • Retention of position with customers as logistics experts
  • Growth by identifying new profit streams within customers

Consultancy Opportunity

This is a consultancy opportunity to undertake alongside your current role within Wincanton. We can only accept interest from internal colleagues. The consultancy team will work with Business Development and Account Management teams to identify opportunities within the sub-sectors of P&I.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consultancy leads will work with Business Development and Account Management teams to identify opportunities
  • Consultancy leads will agree all deliverables up front with the customer
  • Consultancy team will match the opportunity to the relevant SMEs within the Consultancy database based on skillset and background
  • SMEs will be fully briefed of the requirement, deliverables, and final submission format
