Role Overview: As a key contributor, you will engage in the conceptual design, feasibility assessments, front-end engineering design (FEED), and comprehensive engineering for HVAC systems across various sectors including Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently execute and collaborate within a high-performing team to deliver diverse assignments.
  • Conduct design calculations and develop specifications and datasheets for HVAC systems.
  • Coordinate HVAC designs with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive and effective solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships to meet project deliverables within budgetary and scheduling constraints.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience. A robust understanding of HVAC regulations, codes, industry standards, and engineering practices is essential for designing and optimizing HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security standards.

You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and verifying HVAC engineering design documentation, which includes technical specifications, control philosophies, system philosophies, basis of design, HVAC and LEV calculations, datasheets, system layouts, and ductwork design.

Additionally, candidates should be pursuing or have achieved Chartered accreditation with the IMechE.
