About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Admiral Nurse to join our team at Appoint Group. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality dementia care across our homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialist Nursing Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions, practical advice, and emotional support to families of people with dementia, care team members, and, where appropriate, the individuals themselves.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with Dementia Care Managers to ensure the effective delivery of the My Life Strategy, maintaining a high standard of dementia care across our homes.
  • Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs for care home team members and families living with dementia, enhancing the skills and competencies of the staff team.
  • Practice Development: Participate in the development, evaluation, and audit of this specialist area of practice, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Bereavement Support: Offer comprehensive support at all stages, including bereavement, to ensure comprehensive care for families and residents.
