Job Description:
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Regional Admiral Nurse to join our team at Appoint Group. As a Regional Admiral Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Dementia Care Managers in the operational delivery of the My Life Strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Specialist Nursing Assessment: Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based interventions, practical advice, and emotional support to families of people with dementia, care team members, and, where appropriate, the individuals themselves.
- Operational Support: Assist Dementia Care Managers in delivering the My Life Strategy, ensuring a high standard of dementia care across our homes.
- Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs for care home team members and families living with dementia, enhancing the skills and competencies of the staff team.
- Practice Development: Participate in the development, evaluation, and audit of this specialist area of practice.
- Bereavement Support: Offer support at all stages, including bereavement, to ensure comprehensive care for families and residents.
- Qualifications: RGN / RMN / RNLD Nursing Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in dementia care and nursing
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive Salary: £25.00 per hour + mileage expenses
