Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Isla Restaurant, located in the heart of The Standard London. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience that exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage tables efficiently, ensuring prompt service and minimizing wait times.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our menu and beverage offerings, making recommendations to guests as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume, high-energy restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails, with the ability to make recommendations to guests.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Availability to work full-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
