Site Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operating Technician to join our team at RWE AG. As a key member of our Embedded Assets Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and commercial performance of our power generation assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain power generation assets to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Carry out routine duties to maintain plant commercial performance, availability, and reliability.
- Apply safe systems of work and take on nominated roles within RWE safety rules.
- Diagnose and report faults in plant and control systems.
- Plan, organize, and supervise maintenance activities, including contractor supervision.
- Assist Location Managers and colleagues on projects and outage preparation.
- Perform general maintenance tasks based on individual competence and training.
- Liaise with internal and external customers.
- Take advantage of commercial opportunities through flexible plant operation.
- Provide flexible support to delivery of projects and operational workloads.
Requirements:
- Competent in all aspects of generating plant operation.
- Appreciation of commercial aspects of power generation business.
- Knowledge and experience of power and/or process plant operation or maintenance.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- A high standard of numeracy, written communication skills, and IT literacy.
- A flexible approach to work patterns.
