Site Operations Specialist

Join RWE AG as a Site Operating Technician and contribute to delivering operational and maintenance requirements of the Hythe and remote sites. As a key member of the Embedded Assets Operations team, you will be responsible for operating the Hythe plant and remote sites from the Hythe control room, carrying out plant operational routines, and performing fault diagnosis and breakdown recovery.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain portfolio plant to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Carry out plant-related routine duties to maintain commercial performance, availability, and reliability.
- Apply safe systems of work, including Putting People to Work and Authorisation to Work.
- Perform plant and control system first-line fault diagnosis and reporting.
- Apply operational, maintenance, and safety systems and documentation for the plant.
- Plan, organise, and supervise maintenance activities, including contractor supervision.
- Assist Location Manager and colleagues on projects and outage preparation.
- General maintenance of plant dependent on individual competence and training.
- Liaise with internal and external customers.
- Take advantage of commercial opportunities through flexible plant operation.
- Competent in all aspects of generating plant operation.
- Appreciation of commercial aspects of power generation business.
- Knowledge and experience of power and/or process plant operation or maintenance.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- A high standard of numeracy, written communication skills, and IT literacy.
- A flexible approach to work patterns, dependent upon seasonal operating requirements.
- An expected starting salary from £42,000 to £49,425 depending on experience and up to 10% annual bonus.
