Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Biltmore Mayfair. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef, Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and Junior Sous Chefs in a fast-paced hotel kitchen, delivering consistently high-quality food, meeting deadlines, and adhering to HACCP regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out food preparation as specified by the senior chef on duty.
  • To be able to work on different sections of the kitchen.
  • To produce tasty, good-looking dishes, ensuring that the production of food for all menus is consistent.
  • To ensure that all food is prepared hygienically and safely at all times.
  • To ensure that all food is stored and kept at the correct temperature at all times.
  • To minimize waste of any food products at all times.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, days, mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Culinary Professional in a high-quality hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce.
  • A highly creative approach to work with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledgeable about food and beverage operations.
  • Positive and can-do attitude.
  • A working knowledge of health and safety, compliance, and procedures.
