Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled AC engineer to perform service maintenance on commercial sites across the UK. The role involves working on various Air Conditioning systems, providing professional service to clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Complete scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Reactive works, including breakdowns and repairs
  • Experience in installing and replacing Air Conditioning systems, including Splits, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRFS), Air Handling Units (AHUs), and Direct Expansion (DX) systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in Air Conditioning systems, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime
  • Provide quotations for remedial works, including cost estimates and project timelines
  • Work on a variety of Air Conditioning systems, including commercial and industrial applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and clients to achieve project goals
  • Field-based role, covering various locations across the UK
  • Complete F-Gas paperwork and update logbooks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in Out of Hours Call Out Rota, providing emergency support to clients
  • Provided with a company vehicle, uniform, Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), and mobile phone

Requirements:

  • C&G 2079 Category 1 qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant trade
  • F-Gas certification, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Mechanical and Electrical background, with experience in Air Conditioning systems
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service
  • Knowledge of building fabric maintenance, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment
  • UK Driving License, with a clean driving record
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software
