We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team at HB People Recruitment & HR Specialists. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Ledger: Process sales invoices on Sage 50 & EDI, manage customer receipts, and maintain the Sales Ledger.
- Purchase Ledger: Process purchase ledger invoices on Sage 50, reconcile supplier statements, and prepare payments due to suppliers.
- General Administration: Assist in other areas as required, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Previous experience in sales and/or purchase ledger is essential.
- Basic Excel skills are required.
- Some accounts system experience is necessary, with Sage 50 & EDI being desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in an open-plan office.
- A car owner/driver is ideal due to the location, with free car parking available.
