Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to develop and manage customer relationships, drive sales growth, and support the team in achieving business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in FMCG sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Development
    • Develop and manage customer strategic business plans, including aligned promotional, activation, and investment plans.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery buyers and their teams.
  • Sales Performance
    • Proactively manage sales into accounts, ensuring budgets and targets are achieved.
    • Support the team in achieving sales and revenue growth.
  • Commercial Negotiations
    • Support the team in commercial negotiations with customers.
    • Provide clear and up-to-date inputs into the weekly and monthly sales forecasting process.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong selling ability and experience selling into and managing grocery accounts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proactivity to seek new opportunities.
  • Great multitasking and organizational ability.

About You

You will have a demonstrable track record in FMCG sales working with UK retailers. You will be enthusiastic, pragmatic, and resilient, with the ability to demonstrate your agility to transition at pace, work to tight deadlines, communicate effectively, and motivate team members to support your objectives.
