Car Park Attendant

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in a collaborative effort to assist with the appointment of a Car Park Cashier, on a 2.5-month contract, with the possibility of extension at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for consideration.

Compensation: £18.30 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and clear communication with customers regarding charges and recording procedures.
  • Accurately reconcile cash and tickets, adhering to established procedures.
  • Comply with procedures for recording lost tickets, authorized exits, pass card rejections, and barrier raises.
  • Perform minor and basic repairs, as well as first-line maintenance, on access control equipment.
  • Verify and request consumables to maintain the smooth operation of the car park.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a car park environment is desirable, although not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Please note:

  • Availability to start immediately or at short notice is required.
  • Right to work in the U.K is necessary.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
