Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a proficient Electrical Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our team at RBU Sales UK Ltd t/a iRecruit UK. This role is structured as a Temp-to-Perm opportunity.

Working Hours:
10:00am - 18:00pm, Monday to Friday (Flexibility with core hours and potential for additional overtime based on operational requirements)

Compensation:
£17.30 per hour (£36,000 annually)

Role Responsibilities:
This position encompasses a combination of scheduled preventative maintenance and responsive tasks, aimed at ensuring the efficient operation and safety of our facilities.

The successful candidate will possess a robust background in electrical maintenance, complemented by skills in building maintenance, minor carpentry, and project execution.

Key Duties Include:
  • Executing planned preventative maintenance on both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Conducting building maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and carpentry.
  • Managing minor project work, lifecycle variations, and small-scale works.
  • Utilizing the Building Management System (BMS) for monitoring and controlling mechanical equipment.
  • Inspecting and maintaining fire doors in accordance with established schedules.
  • Completing all tasks proficiently while adhering to relevant policies, specifications, and health and safety regulations.
  • Enhancing IT skills (Excel, Word, Email, PDA) for effective business information management.
  • Carrying out maintenance, reactive, and installation tasks in compliance with policies and health and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with the Team Leader/Facilities Coordinator to prioritize workload for timely and budget-conscious completion.
  • Evaluating and managing risks and hazards associated with all work performed.
  • Ensuring fire doors are inspected and maintained to applicable standards for effective fire compartmentalization (training available if necessary).
