Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Testing Specialist with a robust background in electrical engineering and a valid 18th Edition certification. This role involves working with various safety equipment, electrical assessments, building access systems, fire safety solutions, and water management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) across diverse commercial and industrial environments.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify any potential hazards.
  • Inspect and evaluate electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control mechanisms.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the condition of electrical installations, providing clear recommendations for necessary remedial actions.
  • Adhere to relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations, during all inspections.
  • Maintain and calibrate all inspection tools and equipment as required.
  • Engage in continuous training and professional development to enhance your technical expertise.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection and Testing.
  • NVQ Level 3 certification.
  • A solid understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and reporting software.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
