2BM Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading supplier of products for the oil and gas industry to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer/Fitter with a mechanical bias for their Sheffield site on a permanent contract.

The organisation, with a global presence and a commitment to innovation and technology, is seeking a talented Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret equipment and plant layout drawings, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Produce documentary evidence and carry out scheduled maintenance of plant and equipment, ensuring accurate and timely updates to maintenance data records.
  • Respond to machine and plant equipment breakdowns, perform necessary repairs, and report the cause of breakdown.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Mechanical or Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer or multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to interpret drawings and perform maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
