About the Role – Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a world leader in the manufacture of niche components, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this multi-skilled engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of CNC Mills, Lathes, and EDM Machines.

This role will work independently to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, conducting timely and efficient repairs to production machines. The successful candidate will work on a rotating shift pattern, including Earlies and Lates.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair CNC Mills, Lathes, and EDM Machines.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Liaise with departments and suppliers regarding maintenance issues.
  • Plan and schedule breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Perform general building maintenance activities as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
