Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Gledholt and Gledholt Mews and Coach House. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will have the opportunity to deliver an evidence-based SLT service to meet the needs of our complex client group within a community rehabilitation and residential setting.
Main DutiesAs a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will use your skills and knowledge to assess, advise, and intervene with the aim of promoting functional communication systems and optimal independence. You will be responsible for training others, promoting good practice, and maintaining a successful total communication environment.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an emerging or established Speech and Language Therapist to provide SLT input in a service with a strong focus on inter-disciplinary working. You will be working as part of a team to deliver an evidence-based SLT service to meet the needs of our complex client group.
Requirements- Experience in mental health and/or inpatient services
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support with an emphasis on person-centred approaches
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexibly whilst remaining calm under pressure
- Innovative, enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate with high regard for professional boundaries
- A fixed caseload that does not increase in size
- Full support from an onsite multidisciplinary team
- Excellent Clinical Supervision, CPD, and developmental opportunities for clinical and non-clinical duties
