E3recruitment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead a small multi-functional production team at one of our client's micro manufacturing plants in the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Develop and promote company, factory, and team plans, and implement them to achieve defined objectives.
- People Management: Motivate and develop the team through performance reviews to ensure delivery of objectives.
- Technical Expertise: Facilitate the rigorous application of manufacturing techniques to generate Continuous Improvement across all areas of manufacturing capability.
- Compliance and Quality: Implement and adhere to all company and factory control procedures to ensure compliance with statutory requirements in Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.
- Process Improvement: Develop systems and standards to deliver world-class standards of housekeeping using the 5S principles.
- Manufacturing Experience: Knowledge and experience of manufacturing processes with a strong focus on CI and/or lean manufacturing techniques.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrable organizational skills, including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures.
- Leadership and Management: Leadership and management skills to build, motivate, develop, and improve the team.
- Health and Safety: A strong appreciation of the importance of safe working practices and health and safety within manufacturing environments.
