About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Positive Behavioural Specialist to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Positive Behavioural Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with challenging behaviors, enabling them to participate in a wide range of activities.
  • Ensure good working practice, including understanding and awareness of health and safety protocols.
  • Promote independence and develop skills, assisting with all tasks necessary to ensure positive life experiences.
  • Work positively with other agencies, parents, carers, and other services to ensure person-centered support.
  • Develop and contribute to the maintenance of records and support plans, and function as a Keyworker when required.
  • Support and maintain a clean-living environment, appropriate to meet individual needs.
  • Participate in regular and ongoing training, relevant to needs.
Requirements
  • Hold a UK driving license and be willing to drive an automatic vehicle.
  • Be able to work on a shift rota basis, covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Have a calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Be able to work as part of a team, with a focus on providing person-centered support.
