About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at an SEN School in Redditch. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised assistance to secondary students aged 11-16 with behavioural difficulties.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young people's lives by supporting a range of students who experience barriers to learning. With small class sizes of 2-8 students, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and provide pastoral care and guidance to students.

The role is full-time, with the possibility of ongoing employment for the right candidate. If you are passionate about supporting students with behavioural needs and have a commitment to providing high-quality care and guidance, we would love to hear from you.

What We Are Looking For
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting, especially with those who have special needs.
  • Experience through volunteer work in schools, camps, or tutoring can be considered.
  • Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
