The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our back office teams and area offices, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our operations. This role will also involve line management responsibilities, training and development of staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the back office teams
- Ensure accurate and compliant client records are maintained
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff to achieve high levels of performance
- Oversee the training and induction of new employees
- Monitor and ensure adherence to back office processes and procedures
- Allocate tasks and assignments, monitoring performance and providing feedback
- Monitor relevant KPIs and act upon data to ensure results meet standards
- Provide feedback on procedural and operational efficiency
- Manage external suppliers and assist with recruitment
- Input into future strategy and development of office structures
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and research the market
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience
- Good working knowledge of IO and provider platforms
- Excellent planning, organisational and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to produce concise business correspondence and proofread for accuracy
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to cope with change
- Confident with IT and office software packages
- A team player with a positive attitude
This role is ideal for an experienced Office Manager or Senior Support who can demonstrate managerial qualities and a strong track record of successful recruitment. The successful candidate will be based in Hertfordshire or Essex and will be required to commute to our offices.
