Payroll Officer

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at NISI. As a key member of our payroll function, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for multiple organisations, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements and organisational policies.
- Manage and maintain payroll records and controls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to enquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve payroll processing deadlines and maintain a high level of service quality.
- Stay up-to-date with HMRC requirements and organisational policies, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience in payroll processing, preferably with a recognised payroll qualification.
- Strong understanding of HMRC requirements, including tax, NI, and pension schemes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in using iTrent or similar payroll software.
