The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Senior Python Developer with a passion for pricing algorithms to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining pricing models that drive business success.
Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with diverse teams to gather requirements and analyze pricing needs.
- Lead strategic pricing projects, supporting the development of our rating engine.
- Utilize advanced Python coding skills to develop and maintain accurate and efficient pricing algorithms that align with company objectives.
- Mentor pricing engineers, providing expertise in Python, SQL, and offering technical guidance.
- Deliver data-driven insights to stakeholders, enhancing decision-making processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Python Developer within the Insurance or Financial Services sector.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for algorithm development and testing.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, BDD, and TDD.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and influence team dynamics.
- Proven track record of driving skill development within a team.
