Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development/Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our client base, building strong relationships with existing clients, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and expand the current client base, including companies such as INEOS, JCB, AkzoNobel, Caterpillar, and other large entities.
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships, establishing trust and credibility with clients.
- Develop and execute lucrative sales plans to drive business growth.
- Collaborate across various functions and levels of the business to achieve commercial objectives.
- Work closely with the Commercial Director to set up and execute business development plans.
- Regularly visit and meet with clients to maintain and expand business relationships.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in the waste management/recycling industry or significant sales experience in related fields.
- Highly confident with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Active listening and questioning skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Good presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to any level or type of audience.
- Highly organized, with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good IT skills, with competency in software such as MS Office.
