Role Overview:

The position of Aspiring Veterinary Nurse is crucial in delivering exceptional veterinary services. In this role, you will collaborate with our skilled Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and Veterinarians to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing nursing care to animals
  • Assisting Veterinarians and Nurses in the safe handling of animals during treatments
  • Feeding, walking, and caring for patients
  • Preparing emergency and surgical areas
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the practice
  • Conducting internal laboratory tests
  • Responding to emergency inquiries
  • Managing the reception area, including handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and processing payments

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong communication skills with a high degree of empathy
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and experience interacting with the public
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting is required
  • Background in animal welfare, including feeding, cleaning, medicating, and handling, along with a solid understanding of animal welfare needs
  • Currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a Veterinary Nursing program
  • Ability to remain resilient in challenging and emotional situations
  • A positive outlook and strong teamwork capabilities
