We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our night nursing team at a referral clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient and client care, working closely with our team of AVP vets, nurses, and support staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with evening or overnight surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care.
- Conduct nurse-led appointments and perform schedule 3 activities.
- Provide patient monitoring and care throughout the night.
- Manage admissions and discharges under the direction of the veterinary team.
- Dispense and check medications.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
- Lead team briefings to ensure efficient practice operations.
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring colleagues to improve team performance.
