Location: Beeston, Nottingham
Contract Type: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday with a varied shift pattern, including a 1:4 rotation for Saturday duties

Role Overview:
The responsibilities of this position will encompass:
Leading and supervising the Reception team Organizing staff schedules, including managing holiday and sickness cover Ensuring high standards of customer service are upheld Conducting one-on-one meetings with Reception team members and serving as their primary point of contact Performing administrative tasks to support the practice and team Overseeing recruitment efforts for the practice (collaborating with the internal recruitment team)Additionally, you will be responsible for covering the reception desk and performing the following tasks:
Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments Addressing inquiries via phone, in person, and email Registering new clients Completing insurance documentation Dispensing medications Processing payments Most importantly, providing a warm and welcoming experience for clients visiting the practiceIdeal Candidate Profile for our Lead Veterinary Reception Manager:
Previous experience in a Receptionist role is essential, veterinary experience is advantageous Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management are highly desirable Resilience and the capacity to handle potentially distressing and emotional situations Excellent communication skills with a strong sense of empathy Outstanding organizational abilities Exceptional customer service skills and experience in public interactions A positive demeanor and strong teamwork capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management and operating systemsWhat We Offer:
