Key Responsibilities of the Project Support Officer:

• Assist project team members with various tasks to ensure successful project execution in alignment with organizational objectives and strategies, facilitating both internal change and business transformation initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare and present information to communicate effectively with business managers and stakeholders, including process maps, financial data, and project updates.

• Provide a Project Management Office (PMO) function, which encompasses project planning, risk management, and documentation to guarantee project success, including taking meeting minutes and generating progress reports, as well as organizing and scheduling meetings. Aid in the assessment of key business challenges and explore ways to enhance business performance.

• Coordinate small-scale change and project-related activities, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure timely task completion and successful outcomes. Maintain effective communication and foster strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to promptly address any issues. Contribute to special programs and projects that align with the organization's values and objectives.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain efficient administrative systems to support service delivery in accordance with established policies and regulations. Conduct research and gather data to support project initiatives while identifying opportunities for service enhancement.

• Communicate effectively and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely identification and resolution of issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Recent experience in a similar role supporting project delivery, managing deadlines, and prioritizing workloads for both self and others, along with providing administrative support to a distributed team.

• Experience in analyzing and diagnosing issues, implementing effective solutions, and producing quality information.

• Familiarity with writing detailed requirements documents and/or process improvement maps, along with knowledge of project methodologies.

• Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths are essential.

• Strong understanding of written and spoken English, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Good interpersonal and customer service skills, thriving in a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to extract and analyze data from computer systems, with basic report writing skills being desirable.

• Strong organizational and planning abilities, with the capacity to work independently and take initiative.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 is essential.
