Key Responsibilities of the Project Support Officer:

• Assist project team members with tasks that facilitate successful project execution in alignment with organizational objectives and strategies, managing both internal changes and business transformation initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare and deliver information to effectively communicate with business managers and stakeholders, including process maps, financial data, and project updates.

• Provide a Project Management Office (PMO) function, which encompasses project planning, risk management, and documentation to ensure successful project outcomes, including taking meeting minutes and compiling progress reports, as well as organizing and scheduling meetings. Collaborate on key business challenges and explore avenues for enhancing business performance.

• Coordinate minor change initiatives and project-related activities by liaising with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery of tasks and outcomes. Maintain effective communication and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promptly address any issues. Contribute to special programs and projects that align with the organization's values and objectives.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain efficient administrative systems to support service delivery in accordance with established policies and regulations, while conducting research and gathering data to bolster project initiatives and identify opportunities for service enhancement.

• Communicate effectively and sustain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure any issues are identified and resolved appropriately.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Recent experience in a similar role supporting project delivery, managing deadlines, and prioritizing workloads for oneself and others, along with providing administrative support to a distributed team.

• Experience in analyzing and diagnosing issues, implementing effective solutions, and producing quality information.

• Familiarity with writing detailed requirements documents and/or process improvement maps, as well as knowledge of project methodologies.

• Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths are essential.

• Strong command of written and spoken English, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Good interpersonal and customer service skills, thriving in a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to extract and analyze data from computer systems, with basic report writing skills being desirable.

• Strong organizational and planning abilities, capable of working independently and exercising initiative.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 is essential.
