ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting directly to the Framework Operations Manager, the Senior Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and supporting a variety of project and business sustainability strategies while securing future projects.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Project Coordinator position include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading a team of internal staff and external specialist subcontractors
  • Overseeing a portfolio of highway and structures projects within the Worcestershire county Council framework
  • Taking full ownership of projects from inception to completion with unwavering dedication and a strong drive for success
  • Managing site personnel performance to meet project objectives and enhance productivity
  • Providing health and safety leadership to operational teams and advocating for behavioral safety improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant HSE regulations
  • Guaranteeing adherence to the policies and procedures of the Business Management System
  • Ensuring the availability of competent resources for project delivery and effectively communicating project objectives
  • Developing and maintaining project timelines throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring adherence to the contract schedule
  • Leading the project risk management process and establishing effective controls to support project delivery
  • Identifying and capitalizing on project opportunities to enhance commercial performance
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We seek a candidate with prior experience as a Senior Project Coordinator in an operational setting, possessing the following qualifications:

  • HNC/HND
  • Experience in NEC Contract management is highly desirable

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness and possess strong communication skills. As this is a leadership role, proven leadership abilities and extensive IT proficiency are essential.
