Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 + Package + London Weighting Allowance when applicable

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced retail or hospitality leader to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing a team of sales assistants, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in the management of the store, including staff supervision, customer service, and sales targets.
  • Manage a team of sales assistants, including recruitment, training, and development.
  • Ensure the store is merchandised and maintained to a high standard.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock.
  • Manage the store's budget, including controlling costs and achieving sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Manager or Leader within fast-paced Retail or Hospitality sectors.
  • Motivated by results, with a focus on achieving high standards and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Possess a high attention to detail, with a strong understanding of company procedures.
  • Naturally able to deliver clear instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Open to travelling within a 45-minute radius of your home location and other locally commutable stores.
  • A pro-active, solution-focused individual, able to prioritise, delegate, and develop a team driven to achieve specific targets.
  • Motivated to consistently achieve targets.
  • Skilled in time management and boosting operational efficiency.
  • An experienced people-manager.
