About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Anaesthetic Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding clinical leadership within the Anaesthetic Team and guiding the provision of high-quality care to children and their families throughout their Theatre journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the Anaesthetic Team
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures
  • Support the training and development of colleagues at all levels
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner
  • Relevant accredited qualification at post-graduate level
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Assessor or practice supervisor qualification/experience
