About the Role

The OSB Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Management department, you will be responsible for managing a team of Asset Management Associates and overseeing the end-to-end functionality of our collections and recoveries mortgage service systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Asset Management Associates to ensure effective asset workout strategies and minimize losses.
  • Develop and implement optimal collection and work-out strategies in collaboration with Asset Management firms, Solicitors, and LPA Receivers.
  • Oversee the management of portfolios of short-term lending, properties in possession, and properties in the hands of LPA Receivers.
  • Monitor market sentiment in jurisdictions where assets reside and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure risks are fully considered and understood in potential new possession/LPA cases.
  • Advise the Group Head of Asset Management and Specialist Financial Support on key operational issues and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

We are looking for talented individuals with:

  • An understanding or previous experience of minimizing losses in mortgage assets.
  • A solid career within the financial services industry or asset real estate management.
  • Experience of analyzing and presenting detailed data points and outcome-focused work-out strategies.
  • Detailed knowledge of the legal structure affecting property and recovery.
