Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency Systems Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced RF systems for our clients in the satellite communications industry.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on RF systems. You will be responsible for creating detailed system requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading RF system integration and debugging activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop RF Systems: Create detailed system requirements based on customer specifications and ensure requirements meet all relevant regulatory standards.
  • Lead RF System Integration: Lead RF system integration and debugging activities at the board level, ensuring seamless integration of RF blocks.
  • Develop Algorithms: Develop algorithms for the control of RF blocks and collaborate with digital hardware and software teams to integrate and validate algorithms.
  • Test and Calibration: Develop test and calibration strategies for sub-assemblies of the complete array.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience in RF and system modeling.
  • Experience in creating algorithms to control complex systems.
  • Experience in system integration, prototyping, measurement, and transfer to production.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High energy levels and the ability to work with both commercial and technical employees.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience with PCB layout for complex systems.
  • Experience with link budget calculations.
  • Familiarity with Keysight SystemVue.
  • PhD or Master's degree in RF Systems or Communications Theory.
